Easy ride on towpath of river Wey navigation from Guildford to wooded Godalming and back, pausing at Lewis Carroll statue in Guildford, lunch stop at waterside pub. Suitable for all bikes except narrow-tyre roadies, some mud and gravel on sections of path. About 5 miles Greenwich-Waterloo, 7 miles each way Guildford-Godalming, all flat.
Meet 0930 Cutty Sark Gardens, 1000 The Needle on London Bridge, 1030 train Waterloo-Guildford.
