All the fun of the fair and Dr. Bike. Come along to Hillyfields for the Brockley Society's fun summer fair. Plenty of events and stalls and of course Lewisham Cyclists will be on hand to give your bike a check over and make adjustments to gears and brakes.

Brockley Fayre as usual was a busy, bustling, sunny and warm event.

Our two Dr. Bikes, Betty and Will from CTUK were kept busy all afternoon and even put in 30 minutes overtime to clear the queue.  Thanks guys.

Dr. Bike wasn’t the only busy team. Our information team of Doug, Carole, Paul, Jack and Dave were also kept busy all afternoon. The things people were most concerned about were routes to work, rides for families and training. It’s nice to finally give information out about cycle training provided by Lewisham Council.

We had a new dimension this year with music from Doug’s bike mounted mobile sound system. A mixture of cycling related songs and modern dance music complimented the information and mechanical help. Doug’s looking for an appropriate name for the system – suggestions to the elist please.
